Maximizing your message

There's a lot of noise out there in the world, right outside your door. The challenge is how to get your message heard in a way that not only gets attention, but also motivates people to take action.  Video for non-profits must be crafted creatively, compassionately and concisely. It must open hearts and minds, and ultimately pockets, but not slam people over the head with the message. A large dose of balance and good sense come into play, along with artistic and technical expertise. Let us help you translate your ideas into images that will leverage the power of visual media to your organization's advantage.

Instructional

  • “Design OF ANY KIND is an opportunity to continue telling the story, not just to sum everything up.”
    ~ Tate Linden

“Cristina Cassidy Productions brought noteworthy professionalism and skills to the videos they produced for us. We were well pleased not only with our working relationship but also with the quality of their work.”

LEARNING BY SEEING

A well-crafted instructional video can do wonders to promote your organization’s services and to reach a tremendously large audience via the Internet. The possibilities of using video in this capacity are endless. You can use it to train employees, introduce products and services to your audiences, promote a new concept, and educate your audience about your organization. We can provide a variety of services in this area, from video coverage of your organization’s workshops and seminars--which can be posted on your website or through various social media sites--to narrated how-to videos.

Documentaries

  • “All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.”
    ~ Martin Luther King, Jr

“Cristina Cassidy Productions allowed the villagers in Yiwabra, Ghana, to tell their story to the world. Every second of the piece was critical to the message, and inspiring.”

REAL PEOPLE IN THE REAL WORLD

Documentary film is a far-reaching medium that incorporates all the elements of story-telling blended with artistic considerations to convey the stories of real people in real life situations.  A documentary can be used as a social advocacy piece, a biographical sketch, a slice-of-life story, or an historical or scientific program.  It can be inspiring, educational, anger-provoking or just plain funny.  A documentary can be highly produced and glitzy, or low budget and gritty, narrated by a single voice, or told through interviews with various people.  There are no limits to a documentary filmmaker's creativity or subject matter.  If you or your organization are interested in telling a story through the use of a documentary, you need to have someone who understands the medium to guide you through the creative process.

Art Installations

  • “This world is but a canvas to our imagination.”
    ~ Thoreau

“Doing video as pure art requires a filmmaker to challenge the boundaries of how he or she uses the medium to express emotion. Artist Edwin Gil gave a group of artists a prompt. We were to create a piece of art that related to the color Red. I was immediately drawn to my Hispanic heritage and wanted to convey the emotions involved in a romantic relationship--from the first sparks of passion, through times of conflict, to eventual reconciliation.”

A NEW WAY TO VIEW
The CHANGING WORLD

Video art is an up-and-coming art form in galleries all over the world. Across Europe, Asia, South America and the US, video art is beginning to take center stage. The purpose is not to tell a story in the traditional sense, but to use visual images as one would in a painting or a sculpture to elicit a response from the viewer. Cristina Cassidy has created one such piece, and plans to continue adding video art work to her ever-expanding video repertoire.
